With rich experience in Internet technology and Web business, Zhang joined Salary.com (NASDQA: SLRY) in 2000. He is responsible for process, methodology, technology and day-to-day operations of software-as-a-service innovation and delivery. Zhang focuses on corporate strategic planning process, customer implementation and professional services, enterprise product marketing and strategy, on-demand software architecture and product development, data center and MIS operations, as well as Salary.com global operations in Asia.

Prior to his role at Salary.com, with his unique approach of committing to operational efficiency, market responsiveness, customer satisfaction and technology innovation, he successfully led and managed many e-Commerce and enterprise product architecture and launch projects for Iconomy.com, a pioneer of private-label e-commerce solutions, Smart Route System, a traveler information company, and Center for Health and Human Services, Inc., a healthcare provider.

Zhang holds a MBA degree from the Johnson Graduate School of Business at Cornell University, and a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering as well as a M.S. degree in Physics from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.
