Mr. Peter Zhu Currently holds position as Director, Marketing Analytics at Staples, Inc., where he built and designed the whole business intelligence platform that increases return on investment by 50%. Before joining Staples in 2003, Peter was leading Customer Analytics functionality for a Boston based start-up company Fortelligent Inc. (acquired by one of the world’s largest ad-agencies WPP). He was instrumental in creating a successful analytics business model that resulted in a fruitful acquisition in 4 years since the inception of the company.
Prior to Fortelligent, Peter was VP Portfolio Modeling, Consumer Risk Management, FleetBoston (Now Bank of America). He led a quantitative team that supported management of portfolio of $15 billion outstanding balance. Before Fleet, Peter was Marketing Science Specialist and Consultant for Mercer Management Consulting, one of the top ten management consulting firms in the world.
