Dr. Jim Xu, currently COO of ET Media, Inc, MA, has more than 18 years technical design and executive management experience in electronics and embedded media systems for digital communications and IT industry. Dr. Xu has worked in Bostons 128 Hi-Tech Zone for roughly 10 years and holds various positions from design engineer, chief engineer, to GM of Business Unit before started up his own venture in 2000. After 6 years in business, ET Media has designed and developed several feature rich products in consumer electronics industry, and has several subsidiaries in China. He has been working in embedded digital media system for both China and US markets since then. Dr. Xu is a senior member of IEEE, senior network security consultant of International Card Union, UK, and the vice editor-in-chief of Information and Standardization Journal, P. R. China. Dr. Xu holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Hunan University in China, and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
