Dr. George Yang is CEO of Beijing Tiantu Capital Company. He is an expert in the operation and supervision of China’s financial and stock market through his many years of experience in VC and PE investments. He has managed many IPO projects. Before that, he was Chief Economist at the ZGC Xingye Investment and Management Co. Ltd, responsible for the design, development and operational management of high technology investment funds provided to the companies in ZGC Science Park. This makes him familiar with the investment environment and the regulatory policies in the ZGC area. He is well connected with many high tech companies.

Previously, Dr. Yang was an official for Peoples Bank of China for nine years, responsible for supervising the financial business operations of financial institutions including banks, insurance companies, and securities companies in China. He is very familiar with business operations of various financial institutions and has wide connections in the Chinese financial sector. Dr. Yang worked for the World Bank for two years performing research on the Chinese financial sector development and providing World Bank Technical Assistance to the sector. Dr. Yang also worked for Beifang Security Co. Ltd in China.

Dr. Yang received his PhD in macroeconomics from the Chinese Academy of Social Science and MS in international finance from the Graduate School of Peoples Bank of China.
