Senior VP, TCL Corporation

Mr. Charls Zhao is a Senior Vice President at TCL Group. With revenue of $7 billion, TCL is ranked #3 among top 100 IT companies in China. TCLs business covers from TV, AV, components, mobile phone, and white goods to electronic appliances. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of TTE Corporation (TCL-Thomson Electronics). TTE is the largest TV company in the world (in scale) with $4.8 billion revenue. Its products are shipped to every corner of the world from North America, Asia and Europe under the brands of TCL, Thomson and RCA (plus other OEM, private label business).

Prior to that, Mr. Zhao was a Vice President at TCL Group, a Founder & President of TCL Components SBU, and President of TCL Multimedia SBU. Before that, he held various positions at TCL: executive deputy GM, Deputy GM, GM and President of TCL Sales Company. Before that, he was a Founder & GM of TCL Tongli Electronics, a Founder & GM of Xian Sales Company, and a Founder & Director of Greater Northwest Region, TCL Sales Company. He was an assistant professor at Northwest Polytechnic University in China.

Mr. Zhao received his MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a M.S. in Reliability Application of Aircraft and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, both from Northwest Polytechnic University.
